As the eighth installment in the ever-evolving Fast and Furious franchise continues its production, some new videos have emerged giving us a glimpse at what to expect from Fast 8 (or #F8, as its known on social media) when it hits theaters next year on April 14.
First up the Fast 8 crew were recently in Iceland filming what looks to be a crazy chase sequence across a snowy landscape featuring all kinds of bonkers vehicles, from sports cars to snowmobiles to Mad Max-like modified armored tanks (some of which look to be housing the actual cameras). We half expect some dude to step into frame and just throw a kitchen sink into the mix, too.
Check this out.
Next up the production was filming in Cleveland (which may be doubling for New York City), and this particular action scene looks to take place inside or outside a parking garage. A parking garage, mind you, that appears to be vomiting cars.
Take a look…

Based on clues star Vin Diesel has tossed out so far, we know Fast 8 will take the action to the streets of New York City, as well as more exotic locations like Iceland and Havana, Cuba. The story will pick up where the last left off, as Kurt Russell’s character — initially teased in Furious 7 — will play a much bigger role in Fast 8, according to Diesel. Additionally, Eva Mendes has joined the film, reprising her role from 2 Fast 2 Furious.
Other cast members include Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Chris Bridges, Lucas Black, Scott Eastwood, Nathalie Emmanuel and more.
